In 2025, Brussels in Pink by Philippe Katerine invited residents and visitors to rediscover Brussels through a surprising artistic trail.

Pendant l’été 2025, le centre-ville de Bruxelles a accueilli une exposition à ciel ouvert. Réparties dans les rues du centre, une douzaine de sculptures monumentales de son personnage emblématique, « Monsieur Rose », ont invités les visiteurs à découvrir la ville sous un angle inattendu.

In summer 2025, the centre of Brussels became an open-air exhibition. Scattered throughout the city centre, around a dozen monumental sculptures of his iconic character, “Monsieur Rose”, invited visitors to discover the city from an unexpected perspective.

Mignonism, the artistic movement created by Philippe Katerine, celebrates softness and the absurd. Both surprising and playful, the sculptures invite us to look at everyday objects and gestures in a new way.

This unique trail was part of the “Enjoy BXL” initiative, which aims to strengthen the appeal of the City of Brussels by supporting local businesses and revitalising urban spaces, making the city centre a lively, welcoming and attractive destination for everyone.
