Brussels City Hall is one of the gems of the Grand-Place, where heritage is brought to life through immersive experiences open to all.
Throughout the year, video-guided tours, panoramic tours and a diverse cultural programme offer new ways to discover this iconic landmark.
The video guide allows visitors to explore the first floor at their own pace, while the panoramic guided tour takes visitors through the most iconic rooms, onto the balcony and up the majestic tower.
Through these different experiences, the history of the City of Brussels unfolds, revealing the City Hall’s place within Brussels’ and Europe’s heritage.
Far more than a heritage site, Brussels City Hall hosts cultural experiences and collaborations throughout the year, bringing its history into dialogue with contemporary creativity.
In 2025 and 2026, Queer Echoes, in collaboration with Cabaret Mademoiselle, took over the City Hall’s spaces through queer stories and performances. Heritage in Motion, created with Back Pocket in 2024 and 2025 and then with Company Abis in 2026, brings together dance, architecture and heritage. In 2026, City Hall also hosted Various Voices as part of Pride Month.
The View Tower Experience, offered in winter during Winter Wonders and every summer, provides a 360° panoramic view of Brussels from the tower. In summer, it alternates between the Flower Carpet and Flowertime, which takes over the City Hall’s spaces every other year with a flower trail.
Brussels City Hall also features in the programme of Brussels events such as the Museum Nocturnes, Heritage Days and Museum Night Fever.
