Brussels Major Events
Brussels Major Events (BME) stages large public events for the City of Brussels and other public bodies. Our events, which are often free, revitalize the capital, boosting local development and tourism alike and bringing wider socioeconomic benefits. Sustainability and eco-responsibility are an integral part of every project. We prioritize delivering multifaceted activities that everyone can enjoy and create new opportunities for artists and organizations with roots in Brussels or Belgium.
Every year, the centre city dazzles thanks to Winter Wonders. Our must-visit event helps increase Brussels’s appeal throughout the festive season.
Belgium’s capital is filled with the magic of Christmas: colourful stalls, gift ideas, seasonal specialties, an ice rink, curling sheet, illuminations and other attractions plus a sackload of culture and entertainment for festive fun with family or friends. The 25th Winter Wonders will be held from 28 November 2025 to 4 January 2026.
Requirements
The intern must have the following knowledge and skills:
- Student in communication, graphic design or visual communication
- Creativity and organization skills
- Knowledge of Adobe suite software (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator)
- Knowledge of other software would be an advantage (PowerPoint, Canva)
- Flexibility & availability
- Willingness to learn and hone his/her graphic skills
- Interest in the events management and cultural sectors
- Eye for detail and passion for branding and visual storytelling
Internship description
- Designing visual content for digital formats (social media / print media)
- Creatively adapting pre-established visuals for signage
- Ensuring that visuals are graphically consistent with the established branding
- Assisting dealings with third parties (Motion Design, external graphic designers, etc.)
- Providing graphic design support for BME events (Winter Wonders…)
